Refund policy

At AutoPal, we want you to be fully satisfied with your purchase. If something isn’t right, we’re here to help. The following policies outline how returns, exchanges, and refunds are handled in our store.

1. Eligibility for Returns

You may request a return within 30 days of receiving your order, provided the following conditions are met:

  • The item is unused, unopened, and in its original packaging

  • All original components and accessories are included

  • Proof of purchase is provided (order number or receipt)

Items Not Eligible for Return

  • Products that have been installed, used, or show signs of wear

  • Opened automotive fluids or chemicals

  • Custom, personalised, or special-order items

  • Clearance or final-sale items

2. Return Process

  1. Contact us at info@autopal.ie to request a return.

  2. Include your order number and reason for return.

  3. Once approved, you will receive return instructions and the return address.

  4. Items must be shipped back within 14 days of approval.

Return Shipping Costs:

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the product is defective or we sent the wrong item.

3. Damaged, Faulty, or Incorrect Items

If your item arrives damaged, faulty, or not as described:

  1. Contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

  2. Include photos/videos showing the issue.

4. Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of approval or rejection.

Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider.

Non-refundable costs:

  • Shipping fees

  • Any customs or import charges

5. Exchanges

We offer like-for-like exchanges where stock is available.
If the replacement is unavailable, you may choose a different item or receive a refund.

6. Order Cancellations

Orders can be cancelled within 1 hour of purchase.
If your order has already been processed or shipped, a cancellation may not be possible.
